This policy explains how Maria Papadopoulou (Marvi) handles the personal information you share when you contact her about a performance.
Who is responsible
Maria Papadopoulou (Marvi), violinist, based in Thessaloniki, Greece, is responsible for your personal information. You can reach her at info@violinistmarvi.com.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry through the website form, email, Instagram, TikTok or the website chat, we receive what you choose to share: your name, contact details (such as email, phone number or social media username), details about your event (date, venue, type of event, music requests) and the content of your messages.
How we use it
We use this information only to answer your inquiry, send you information and offers, organise and perform the booked event, and keep the business records the law requires. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.
The legal basis is the steps you ask us to take before an agreement and the agreement itself (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), our legitimate interest in replying to the messages we receive (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and our legal obligations, for example for invoices (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Tools and service providers
To receive and organise messages and to prepare and send replies, we use trusted providers that process data on our behalf: n8n (workflow automation, hosted in the EU), Google (Gmail, Google Calendar and the Gemini AI service), Meta (Instagram messages), TikTok (TikTok messages), Web3Forms (website contact form) and Cloudflare (website hosting).
Some of these tools use artificial intelligence to help organise messages and prepare replies. Availability, prices and bookings are always decided by Maria. Messages that are clearly personal and unrelated to our services are not kept by these tools.
Transfers outside the EU
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. In those cases the transfer is protected by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
We keep your information only as long as we need it to handle your inquiry and your event, and after that only as long as the law requires (for example for invoices). You can ask us to delete it earlier at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
How to delete your data
Send an email to info@violinistmarvi.com with the subject "Delete my data" and tell us the name, email address or social media username you used to contact us. We will delete your information, including messages received through Instagram or TikTok, and confirm by email within one month.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you use the website chat, your browser keeps a random conversation ID so the chat can continue while you browse.
